Fred Eichler and family encounter an unusually friendly pronghorn.
If you've spent any amount of time in the American west, no doubt you've seen some pronghorn antelope and noted how fast and skittish these animals can be around humans.
Which makes this encounter pro bowhunter Fred Eichler and his family had all the more unusual. They basically met the world's friendliest antelope!
Looks like the little guy just wanted someone to play with! Here at Wide Open Spaces, we've seen plenty of friendly deer encounter videos. Several seem to pop up every season. But this is the first time we've seen a friendly pronghorn antelope.
The most logical explanation for this animal's behavior is that it was raised by humans when it was very young. The animal must have done some serious wandering after being released because it looks like they encountered it out in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks for sharing this very unique encounter with the world, Fred.
