Caleb Salzman smashes the previous record by nearly 4 pounds!
On May 10, Caleb Salzman caught a whopper of a bass, and its immense size is making the fishing world take notice.
The largemouth bass tipped the scales at 11.51 pounds, crushing the previous record fish by almost 4 pounds. That fish was caught in March 1992 and weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department made the exciting announcement May 25 on their Facebook page.
Talk about a tank of a bass and a record no one will break any time soon.
Congrats on the once-in-a-lifetime fish, Caleb. She's definitely a beauty.
