According to TMZ, law enforcement sources shared that the LAPD's Animal Cruelty Task Force is wrapping up its animal abuse investigation and has determined the evidence doesn't support criminal charges.
The good news is she hasn't posted any videos since the incident.

Losing her patience is well beyond what's happening here. This social media influencer clearly lives with a dog that needs some attention and ways to keep himself busy like a stuffed Kong. After she accidentally posted this video on her YouTube channel she posted a long apology which I'm including below. It talks about taking the dog in for training (duh) and how sorry she is about the incident.
Are you familiar with this social media sensation, Brooke Houts? I say we all tweet this and ask YouTube to remove her channel. Should a person that openly abuses their animal be allowed to make money off a platform when we know they should be either re-homing their poor dog or spending a lot more time on enrichment activities?
The video, posted by Brooke Houts, shows her smacking, shoving, holding down, shouting and appearing to spit on the dog, prompting outrage from viewers.

PETA has the right idea. Let's ask YouTube to flat out remove her.

This YouTuber is no different than the many animal abusers we write about all the time. She hasn't been charged for a crime (yet) but her Doberman doesn't deserve to be spit at and certainly not slapped. As a dog parent, she'll quickly learn that her dog will eventually decide he doesn't enjoy being slapped around and a Doberman is a lot of dog to manage if you don't train carefully and KINDLY.
